Welcome to my first pencast brought to you using my spiffy new Livescribe Smartpen.  The Livescribe pen is a really unique device I recently stumbled onto.  I found it whilst researching ways to outsource work tasks for Fitlish.  Several other entrepreneurs recommended using it to share project details with remote workers hired through Elance, oDesk, Craigslist, etc.

It allows you to record both what you write and what is said while writing.  Then you can playback your notes and share them as follows:

• On the computer
• Text searches on all your notes
• Listen to what was said while taking your notes
• Share notes / notebooks on the web.

I’ve been happy with the device so far.  It’s already proving to help me dramatically in ways I never thought possible.  I highly recommend you checkout the Livescribe Smartpen.  Especially if you’re managing remote workers, a student, or just find the device intriguing.
